писмото е препратено от д-р Бойко Георгиев

Dear FECAVA Directors,

To further the understanding of companion animal practitioners in Europe, the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) organizes annually a visiting program to allow members of emerging small animal veterinary organizations to attend BSAVA Congress (Europe’s largest veterinary congress) which is taking place every April in Birmingham, England.

The invitation would include free access to BSAVA Congress (the entrance fee is usually in the region of 500 Euros), hotel accommodation in double rooms for the duration of congress and free access to evening functions (Reception for Foreign delegates, President’s Ball, Party Night)for up to four colleagues.

The visiting delegates would additionally be entitled to a free 1 year BSAVA Overseas E-membership, which gives free access to MP3 CPD lecture downloads, reduced prices for BSAVA Manuals and a whole range of other membership benefits and discounts (further details can be found at http://www.bsava.com/Membership/Benefitsof...d/79/Default.as

px ).

The invitation would not include expenses to travel to Birmingham, visa cost or money spent for personal items.

The preferred candidate would be a regional or national group of practicing companion animal veterinarians who would otherwise not be able to attend this unique event.

Interested parties are invited to send a formless application in less than 500 words to Dr. Wolfgang Dohne MRCVS at vet@virginvet.co.uk , describing the professional background and composition of their group and a brief explanation why their professional work would benefit from a visit to BSAVA Congress.

BSAVA might additionally be interested in the possibility to arrange a joint CPD event at a later stage in the guest country.

All applications have to be received by 30th October 2010 and will be considered by BSAVA’s International Affairs Committee.

The committee’s decision will be final and the selected group of visitors will be informed before 15th November 2010, to leave enough time to allow for travel and – if necessary – visa arrangements.

The visiting group would be expected to participate in official events and receptions during Congress and to inform British colleagues about the life of companion animal veterinarians in their part of Europe.

Please do not hesitate to contact Wolfgang directly if you need any further information.

Kind regards

Ulrike
