David Spreng has graduated in 1988 in Bern Switzerland . He has been trained at the University of Bern as well as at the Veterinary Institute of Trauma, Emergency and Critical Care in Milwaukee . He is board certified in Veterinary Surgery (ECVS) and in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC). He is well respected in the field of veterinary medicine, particularly for his expertise in traumatology and emergency surgery. David Spreng is currently professor and section head of small animal surgery at the Vetsuisse faculty of Bern Switzerland and holds the ECVS President position this year. He has published numerous refereed articles and has received substantial funding for research in the field of the pathophysiology of cranial cruciate ligament rupture. He frequently lectures in Europe and the United States on subjects related to perioperative and operative procedures in trauma surgery.

8. Life saving procedures in emergency medicine - video session on how to perform life saving procedures outside of the surgical area.

 

9. Initial approach to the trauma patient - approach to the trauma patient.

 

10. The acute abdomen - mostly traumatic stuff with a main focus on hemabdomen.

 

11. Gastric dilation and volvolus pre and intraoperative aspects - GDV with videos.

 

12. Surgical nightmares: crazy cases to finish the day.

 

 

 

Language – English (simultaneus translation to Serbian).

 

Printed lecture notes, refresmant during the brakes and lunch is povided for all participants.
