Тъй като 2 месеца преди датата на общото събрание трябва да се определи ден, час, място, дневен ред и да се дадат в Държавен Вестник, вече не може да се променя официалния начален час. Но нищо не пречи да се уговорим за по-ранен час за дискусия, а от 18.00 - официално начало на събирането.

Колеги, последният мандат на управителния съвет на Българската Асоциация на Ветеринарните Лекари за Дребни Животни е изтекъл и трябва да има отчет и избори. Според устава (вижте по-долу прикачения файл) датата и дневният ред трябва да се оповестят поне месец по-рано в Държавен Вестник. 25.11 е петък, а 27-и е неделя. Коя е по-удобната дата? Според Бойко Георгиев е 25-и, петък.
Дневния ред ще бъде обявен като:
1.Отчет на дейността за изтеклия мандат;
2.Избор на председател и управителен съвет;
3.Разни
Първата точка е ясна.
По втората трябва да помислим какво искаме и кой може (и е съгласен) да го свърши.
По третата поне няколко седмици преди Общото събрание трябва да сме наясно за какво ще говорим и какви са главните аргументи. Така просто ще остане да подкрепим една или друга теза. Иначе има опасност да си губим времето с празни приказки.

1. Meaningful Clinical Examination : the use of reflexes,responses and instrumentation to make a diagnosis.
2. Cornea : Part 1: the lecture will cover the various non-ulcerative conditions which affect the cornea.
3. Cornea : Part 2: the Diagnosis and Treatment of Corneal Ulceration.

Словения, 9-10 юли. Присъствал съм на семинар организиран от тази клиника. Всичко беше организирано перфектно. Според мен определено си струва. Ако не ми съвпадаше с морето щях да се възползвам. Ако някой реши да ходи мога да помогна с информация за евтин хотел.

Днес говорих с Бойко за програмата на лекциите и таксата за участие. Вече са ясни всички разходи, така че е по-ясна и таксата за участие.
Все пак това е предварителна инфоермация, но едва ли ще има големи разминавания:
такса членове БАВЛДЖ 55 евро (110 лева)
такса нечленове БАВЛДЖ 70 евро (140 лева)
гала вечеря 25 евро (50 лева)
годишен членски внос към БАВЛДЖ 30 лева
Малко по-късно ще кача предварителна програма за лекциите. Засега е ясно, че повечето лекторите са отлични, а някои са най-добрите в областта си.
Ще има общо 30-36 образователни часа, което е доста повече от предишните години.
Нека така уважаваният от всички д-р Коджабашев, пък и всички четящи темата да споделят какво си мислят за цената.

HELLENIC COMPANION ANIMAL VETERINARY SOCIETY - INVITATION
Dear Dr. Georgiev, dear Boyko,
As you may know, a new Veterinary Society has been founded in Greece two years ago. The name of this society is “Hellenic Companion Animal Veterinary Society” – H.C.A.V.S. and it deals exclusively with the continuing education of Veterinarians on Companion Animal Medicine and Surgery.
You are certainly aware that the Hellenic Veterinary Society deals not only with companion animals but also with farm animals and food hygiene and technology.
The new society has already more than 300 members. At last year’s elections, I had the honor and pleasure to be elected as President and Professor Timoleon Rallis of the Veterinary School of Thessaloniki, as Vice President, for a 3-year term.
Our society organizes an annual congress called Veterinary Forum and also several seminars throughout the year. The first Veterinary Forum was held last year in Athens with success. The 2nd Veterinary Forum will be held this year in Thessaloniki, on the weekend of 26-27 February 2011, at the Grand Hotel Palace, 305-307 Monastiriou str., 546 27 Thessaloniki.
This year, four invited speakers will give in English (with simultaneous Greek translation), nine (9) lectures in total, on subjects of their specialty:
1) Dr. Danielle Gunn- Moore (Scotland) will give two lectures on:
a. Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease: causes and diagnosis
b. Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease: treatment and cases
2) Dr. Sylvie Daminet (Belgium)
a. Update on canine hypothyroidism
b. Update on feline hyperthyroidism
3) Dr. Andrea Munnich (Germany)
a. The pregnant bitch and queen: diseases and disturbances during pregnancy until parturition.
b. Obstetrical problems and management of difficult birth in the dog and cat.
c. Diseases in puppies and kittens – causes, diagnostics and management of neonates.
4) Dr. Peter Fahrenkrug (Germany)
a. A systematical approach to aetiopathology, therapy and profylaxis of canine periodontal disease.
b. Periodontal disease in the cat: still a nightmare.

David Spreng has graduated in 1988 in Bern Switzerland . He has been trained at the University of Bern as well as at the Veterinary Institute of Trauma, Emergency and Critical Care in Milwaukee . He is board certified in Veterinary Surgery (ECVS) and in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC). He is well respected in the field of veterinary medicine, particularly for his expertise in traumatology and emergency surgery. David Spreng is currently professor and section head of small animal surgery at the Vetsuisse faculty of Bern Switzerland and holds the ECVS President position this year. He has published numerous refereed articles and has received substantial funding for research in the field of the pathophysiology of cranial cruciate ligament rupture. He frequently lectures in Europe and the United States on subjects related to perioperative and operative procedures in trauma surgery.

Е какъв може да е проблема? Чакай да помисля...Едно време аз карах УПК след гимназията. Задължително беше. Трябваше да имам някаква "истинска" професия освен разностранно развития си мозък. В резултат сега съм тапицер 4-ти разряд с диплома. Та кой знае, може би след време ще е необходимо да правиш цезарово сечение на крави (това е последната добавка към лекциите за продуктивни).
Сега за щастие времената се промениха. Втората професия не е задължителна. Затова двете програми са в два различни дена, за да е удобно на всички. Пък ако някой има смесена практика да посети и двата дена. Аз лично бих слушал зоонозите на д-р Люцканов. Убеден съм, че ще е по-интересен от официалната статистика.
А аз наистина мога да тапицирам дивани. Оказа се интересно. Тапицерите между другото работят с хирургически игли, затуй така добре се справям с матрачния шев. Сигурно го е измислил някой хем хирург, хем тапицер.

Явно финансиране все пак ще има, макар и не от централната каса. Няколко областни колегии ще се обединят за това.
Участието ще е безплатно за всички членове на БВС и за студенти по ветеринарна медицина (моля поканете всички студенти, които познавате). Някои фирми са изразили желание да подкрепят студенти за пътните разходи, ако това е пречка за тях.
